Working with AFC+A over the years I have had an abundance of opportunities to help build events dedicated towards fostering community engagement through outdoor recreation, cultural connection, and education. We produced monthly community gatherings featuring artists, live music and guest speakers. We led and wilderness hikes, cycling events, tree plantings as well as seasonal programs and the annual Latino Ultra Nature Adventure (LUNA) ultramarathon.
