A day before the Beti Bike Bash, I went riding by myself to Trestle. As I was riding, I suffered a really bad crash, one that really affected me. The next day was the day of the race. I wasn’t sure if I could race. Eventually though, I got up the courage to go out and begin, despite my terrible accident.
